Indians in Dubai Are All Set to Party with the Stars at Simbly South

Despite being a marketer by profession, Jim Thomas always had a relentless attraction towards good music irrespective of the genre. However, his new found love for Asian Underground or Fusion Music and a strong feeling to incorporate that into the clubbing culture of Abu Dhabi, where he was born and bought up, persuaded him to channel this interest into something that would create a platform for South Indians in Dubai and Abu Dhabi to rejoice and grove to some of their favourite songs. This is how Simbly South, a dance night, was conceptualised.

Jim, who is a party animal, loves dancing to songs that make his eardrums vibrate and is of the opinion that South Indian songs have a vibe in them, which when mixed appropriately with high octane bass will leave with you with no other option other than to ‘shake your leg’ to the music. Through this unique once-a-month dance night, he has explored the fun, versatile edge to South India and has proved that Indian music is not all about Bollywood.

Dubai is a city that is always awake and an awesome nightlife event like Simbly South makes sure that nobody gets to sleep. Since its inception three-and-a-half years ago, Simbly South has always managed to keep the South Indian brigade, especially the Malayalees in Dubai, waiting for the next party invite. The ‘desi’ night in an international avatar is now loved by foreigners as well.

Simbly South has come up with ‘The Party of the Season-All-Star Celebrity Special’, which assures to provide a once-in-a-lifetime nightlife event to the South Indians in Dubai.

The popular night-time retreat for the rich and famous will be held on November 25 and is definitely going to be “Simbly South”, according to the organisers. They have arranged for an opportunity where the celebrities dance, dine, and drink along with folks in the club.

The celebrity list includes the who’s who of the South Indian film industry, like Dhanush, Jiiva, P.A. Ranjith (Kabali, director), Akshara Gowda, Jayam Ravi, Venkat Prabhu (director), Samuthirakani (Pulimurugan, VIP), G.V. Prakash (music director), Radhika Sarath, Vijay Prakash (playback singer), Oviya, Sarath Kumar, Suraj Venjaramudu, Gana Bala (playback singer), Urvashi, and 25 other celebrity surprises.

Simbly South and Simbly South Secrets is hosting the event in association with Orange Dreams, where people who love to dance are being given a golden opportunity to party and dance to their favourite south Indian songs along with their favourite celebrities. Dancing to Dhanush’s peppy number with him, will indeed be a unique experience.

Sharing his feelings on the response he is getting for Simbly South, Jim says that he feels great and content as this is a first-of-its-kind event in the world.

The poster for the party featuring the celebrities is out and has been able to create quite a stir among the fans. The event is expected to witness a huge crowd.
