Google, CEO, Sundar Pichai has announced on the company’s official blog it intends to provide internet to 100 of the 400 railway stations with WiFi internet connectivity by the end of 2016.

The company has not released a list of stations, only a map. It looks like Kerala will have three to five stations in the first 100 based on the map.

The map does not give state boundaries so whether the Northern most is Mangalore or Kannur or the one on the West is Palakkad or Coimbatore is still in doubt.

It is also uncertain whether the service is free or will Google charge users for access.
